Our server, Angela, was a bright light to be sure. Happy, not annoyingly perky, and quick with coffee and also the food. Joking aside she was fun to have on our side.
Don ordered the 2 egg, bacon and shredded hash browns with toast and I, of course, ordered the buttermilk waffle with maple syrup and bacon. I say ‘of course’ because that is all I ever order in any establishment that has it on the menu.
Don loved his breakfast and said they have one of THE best breakfasts in any restaurant. I had to tell Angela about the waffle. Without a word of a lie, it is the best waffle I have been served in any restaurant in Canada. We were comparing it to the waffles we had in Belgium it was that good.
All in all, it was a great beginning to a Sunday. Be sure to stop in here people, it was great.
