Many years ago we had been to Ricky’s Restaurant and it was a BAD experience…bad service and terrible food. Every time we drove past one of these restaurants, we’d snicker UNTIL yesterday.
Our daughter was over and raved about the food she had. It was THE best chicken and waffles she had. So…..yesterday Don says he was taking me for lunch as he had a few errands to make.
Lunch out? I’m all for it! Then he told me where we were going. Cautiously I enter and the greeter asked if we wanted the breakfast or lunch menu.
Okay this must be something special. We sit down and start to read their menu. WOW! Has this establishment ever changed. Our lovely server, Charis, is so pleasant and helpful. Don ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and I ordered the Chicken, Brie and fig sandwich. These were bloomin’ awesome.
When it was time to leave, I told Charis of our previous experience and what Kelly had ordered for her breakfast (chicken and waffles) and she said it was her very favourite as well.
Do nto be afraid people, it is a different restaurant altogether. We will be back for sure.
