An early beginning today we are on the road by 7:30 a.m. due to the Spanish time change. It really is 8:30 but try to convince 36 other people of that.
We arrive in Sevilla (Seville) and pile off the bus for a group photo in front of the big bull ring. After that, in 40 degree weather, the rest go on a 90 minute tour of the city, walking. We go back to the hotel and try to rest up and get ready for dinner.
By 6:30 p.m. we go to the Flamenco Show and dinner. Tonight we don’t recognize anyone. Everyone is all dressed up and looking spiffy.
It is now 9:00 p.m. and the show is over. I can honestly tell you the adrenalin is still high. It is beyond anything you thought it could be,
Fast, exciting and heart pounding and, by the way, the costumes are breathtaking.
Tomorrow we are off to Cordoba to see the biggest mosque in the Occident, now a catholic church (all between 600 and 1300). On our return, we go for an original Andalusian dinner, followed by a 40 minute carriage drive. The restaurant is 4th oldest in Europe called “El Rinconcillo”.
Right now……night, night. Talk tomorrow.
