Joey’s Only – Penticton, B.C.

Today, we were on a shopping blitz with our Decorator/Friend, Daryl and stopped in at Joey’s Only.  We spoke with the owner, Dan Adam and I have to tell you, he is one great proprietor.

Dan is a breed apart from the rest.  We watched him wipe tables, work the front of the house, speak with everyone that came into the restaurant. Today it was packed.  No one was slacking in the service end of things.

The food arrived hot, super fresh and absolutely wonderful.(Fish and Chips and Daryl had the Fish Sandwich special).  I cannot promote this establishment enough.  Again, it is consistent in quality, service, smiles and clientele.  Be sure to visit, say hi to Dan and tell him where you read this.

Thanks Dan. Again it was great.

Joey’s Only Restaurant – Penticton, B.C.

This is the second time we went for lunch  At Joey’s Only Restaurant  http://joeys.ca/location/britishcolumbia/penticton.html   (just to see if it is the same) and yes, it is.  The staff are friendly and the food is excellent. More than enough to eat and then they come out and offer free pop/iced tea refill  or extra fries. Right…the elastic on my waistband is almost crying for relief so we had to say no, thank you.

We don’t understand just why they are not lined up outside the door. Perhaps advertising would help a bit. They are not too far from the beach and tourism is high on the list now.

We did notice that the average age today was 45+.

The restaurant is clean and yes, it is a little long in the tooth but you can’t beat the quality of food or cleanliness of the establishment.  Give it a try.
